What are personal data?
Personal data are all details that are traceable to you as an individual. For instance your name, telephone number, address or email address. But also details like your IP address or customer number.
Whose personal data do we process and how do we acquire these data?
We process the personal data of anyone who has or has had direct or indirect contact with us, such as customers and contact persons of partners.
We get the data directly from you when you visit our website, when you request that we create an account for you and fill in certain information or when you contact us. In some cases we receive your data from others. When someone sends an order directly to you, we get your name and address details. We may also receive data from other parties, but only if you have given these parties permission to provide certain information to us.
Personal data processed by us:
PSH Group processes your personal data as a consequence of you using our services and/or because you provide them yourself. Below you will find out which personal data we process, for what reason and how long they are retained.
Contact form:
If you have a question or complaint, you can use the contact form on our website or in our webshop. This requires you to enter some details. Required fields are name, email address, telephone number and country. We use this information to keep you informed regarding your question or complaint and to come up with an appropriate response. If you complete the non-required fields we can give you even more specific answers regarding delivery to an exact address.
After your question or complaint has been settled we retain the information for as long as you have an account with us. If you do not have an account we retain your question or complaint for 5 years. This enables us to provide you with better service should you need us again in the future.
Registration form:
If you want to become our customer, we need several details from you, namely your company name, your name and address, telephone number(s), email address(es) and possibly a fax number and website. If you are registered in Europe we also need your VAT number. We need this information to register you as a customer and to prepare an appropriate quotation and final order. If no purchases have been made, you can ask us to delete your data.
If a purchase has, however, been made, we are obliged to retain details for a period laid down by law.
Data needed to process an order:
When you place an order, we need certain information to be able to deliver your order and to keep you informed about your order. See the heading ‘Registration form’ for more about this.
If you want the shipment to be delivered to an address other than that known to us, you can indicate this in the order. For this we request the following information: (company) name, address and telephone number of the recipient.
This information is required to deliver the order to the correct address and possibly to contact the recipient in case of delivery problems.
Tax legislation requires us to retain this information for the period laid down by law.
Handling payment transactions and collection:
In order to handle the payment of an order correctly, we use your payment details. We receive these through our bank on payment. If you have used direct debit, you will have provided this information via the debt collection registration form.
Tax legislation requires us to retain this information for the period laid down by law.
Cores registration form:
Both on our website and in our webshop it is possible to register cores for collection. The following personal data are requested: company name, name and address details, telephone number and email address. We need this information to be able to arrange the transport and to keep you informed of the collection and handling.
In connection with auditing and possible transport problems, we save the completed cores form for 2 years.
Warranty/return form:
If you complete the guarantee/return form in our webshop, you will be asked for the following personal data: company name, contact person, name and address details, telephone number and email address. We need this information to be able to arrange the transport and to keep you informed of the collection and handling.
This form is processed by us as a warranty/return order to be able to make a credit invoice.
Tax legislation therefore also requires us to retain this information for the period laid down by law.
Offers/Newsletter:
We regularly have offers and newsletters that we want to share with our customers by email.
You are registered for this when you create an account with us. With every offer and/or newsletter that you receive you have the opportunity to unsubscribe.
Social media:
PSH Group uses social media to keep you up to date on the latest products and developments and to let you have a look behind the scenes. You can follow us on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. PSH Group links no conditions to the use of social media. You agree with the conditions of the social media platform. If you ask us a question via social media, we will save that message and your account name so that we can respond to your message. After your question or complaint has been settled we retain the information for as long as you have an account with us. If you do not have an account we retain your question or complaint for 5 years. This enables us to provide you with better service should you need us again in the future.
You can ask us to delete the message and you also have the possibility to do this yourself.
Data from customer surveys:
We are constantly improving our services and bringing them more in line with what customers want. So we can use your data (customer ID, email address and/or telephone number) to invite you to participate in a no-obligation customer or market survey.
Participation in a customer or market research is entirely voluntary. It is up to you whether you want to participate in the survey. How long your data linked to the findings of the customer or market survey will be retained varies from survey to survey. We will remove all your traceable data once the survey has been completed.
Automated decision-making:
PSH Group does not take decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions that are taken by computer programs or systems, without involving a person (for example, a PSH Group employee).
Sharing personal data with third parties:
We share your name and address, telephone number and email address with external service providers where necessary. For example, the transport service needs your name and address to be able to deliver the products to you and your email address and telephone number to keep you informed of this delivery. These external service providers may only use your data to perform the relevant services. So they are not allowed to use or pass on your data independently.
PSH Group will not sell your data to third parties and will only provide these data if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processor agreement with companies contracted by us to process your data to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. PSH Group remains responsible for this processing.
The government:
Sometimes we have to pass on personal data to the government. This may occur first of all if certain government institutions need these data for the performance of their duties, such as the tax authorities. The police or judicial authorities may also need certain information in the event of fraud or abuse. Finally, certain supervisors can have access to personal data in the context of an investigation.

View, modify or delete data:
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. This means that you can submit a request to us to send your personal data that we have in a computer file to you or to another organization named by you. You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion or data transfer of your personal data, or a request for cancellation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to [email protected].
